1968 CHEVROLET IMPALA

1968 impala coupe fastback not many made there was one owner before me and that’s it. Has clear title, Original 327 turbo fire that was rebuilt before I left to Iraq. It has new edelbock carb 650cfi electric choke, edelbrock performer intake, Mallory HEI distributor,chrome valve covers,and chrome air filter. I put a brand new turbo 400 transmission in it. It also has a brand new torque converter. The rear end is a 12 bolt the was rebuilt when I bought it. I installed a front wheel disk brake kit about half a year ago. It has A/C that was rebuilt for modern Freon. when I bought it but I took the compressor out because the hydraulic cylinders were hitting it but I still have it if you want to hook it back on. All electrical on the vehicle works. Has power steering. All glass it intact with no scratches. The interior in about 5 months old it is blue metallic vinyl I was trying to keep original style. Headliner, door panels, padded dash, and carpet are also new. I also has custom panel made for the trunk but took them out when I installed the hydraulics. I Added a mp3/cd player pioneer in a custom console with 6 ½ in. jvc speakers next to it and eclipse 6x9s behind the rear seat. There is fresh undercoating under the vehicle and in the trunk. All body mount and rear trailing arm bushings were replaced with energy suspension polyurethane bushings. For the hydraulics there are 2 chrome pro hopper LA series pumps second from the best model of pro hopper. They have #6 hoses ,4 Italian dumps, ½ compition parker check valves, delco slow downs 12in. Cylinders in the rear with power 360 balls for easier 3 wheel. They are setup with coil overs with 2 ton powder coated coils. The front are 8in. The top A-arms were extended 1 ¾ so they don’t butterfly when locked up. The switches are front, back, l. side, r. side, left rear corner, right rear corner for three wheel. The battery rack is made for 6 batteries, but u have room for 2 more if you want. The body is perfect no rust or cancer there is only one ding in the front header panel but can easily be repaired and a little paint chip above the front left fender on the edge . The antenna I shaved. The car I painted with PPG super marine blue pearl and I added tons of house of color big royal blue flake to the clear and then more clear on top. All weather stripping is brand new along with most of the body gaskets. The door sill plates are also new along with the chrome A/C balls. The impala emblems are brand new same with the door handles, and rear marker light trim. All chrome on vehicle is original and in excellent condition, the front bumper has a little ding in the center part of it. I restored the aluminum grill. I have brand new tires and wheels for it they are 14” reverse deep dish knockoffs chrome ones. The tires are white walls.
