Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral takes place April
19-23. If you’re looking for automotive parts, accessories or
memorabilia…you’ll find them and more in the 8,100 spaces on the
Carlisle Fairground’s 82 acres. Come shop the Car Corral for more than
1,800 vehicles of all makes, models, conditions and prices, at this
HUGE car enthusiast’s mecca! NEW at both the Spring and Fall events
this year, are the inaugural Collector Car Auctions being held in the
new Expo Center, just one block from the Carlisle Fairgrounds. The
auction will offer a wide assortment of vehicles, ranging from ’50s
classics to ’60s muscle cars, including a number of museum grade,
classic and on-of-a-kind cars and motorcycles.
Brand new this
year, Carlisle Performance & Style will join the Carlisle Events
family on May 5-7. P&S is an exciting new event that will introduce
the latest in custom and tuning trends to enthusiasts of all ages. Come
out and see show quality compacts, modified trucks, SUVs and high-end
luxury sedans, awesome tuner cars, resto-mod muscle cars, sleek sport
bikes and much more. This electrifying show brings with it some great
contests including burnout, bikini and stereo competitions. Our
not-to-be-missed high-line manufacturer building will be filled with
exotic rides and unique accessories. Catch the high-flying freestyle
motocross show and the rest of the excitement planned all weekend long!

For 2006, Carlisle Events plans to pump up
the Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals, May 19-21. This year the
Carlisle spotlight in on VW. A special display of VW’s, “An Historic
Flight” that takes us
Carlisle Events’ 2006 season – add one
the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s promises be a must-see attraction. Carlisle
Events is negotiating for some exotic new European cars in the 2006
show. Kit cars are always well represented, with all the big kit
manufacturers displaying their newest products. The Saturday Evening
Poker Run Road Rally, the central Pennsylvania vineyards wine tasting
and the car club barbecues were so well received last year, similar
events will be hosted again this year.
Another exciting Carlisle
All-Ford Nationals will be held on June 2-4, 2006. This year’s event
will feature the fortieth anniversary of the Ford Bronco. This special
display will feature many outstanding examples of these vehicles. In
attendance will be TV personality Stacy David, star of the popular
Truckin’ television show, along with the Crazy Horse Bronco that was
restored on the show. He will be on hand to sign autographs and answer
your questions about Broncos. The show will also include a special
tribute and display of Ford Police vehicles that were used during many
years of law enforcement. The 1966-1967 427 Fairlanes and Comets will
be highlighted at the show. As always, the show will include
interesting seminars, unique exhibits and other exciting events.

is no longer on Father’s Day, but it’s still a great gift idea for Dad

for GM collectors are being planned for this year’s show, including a
new feature “Collector’s Showcase” featuring a wide-variety of
The Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals will host
another spectacular three-day show, July 7-9, 2006. We will feature
‘71 Hemi and six-pack cars, as 1971 was the last year of these “terrors
of the highway.” Be there for a showdown between old school vs. new
school, as we host a side-by-side display of concourse restorations vs.
resto-moded models. Hemi legend Tom Hoover will be reunited with his
ball stud hemi engine and his original Barracuda. DaimlerChrysler will
once again display concept vehicles and the latest developments in
their company. Celebrity guests will be on hand to sign autographs and
answer questions. Special show cars, seminars and exhibits take place
throughout the Chrysler weekend.
The 2006 Carlisle Summer Bike
Fest, July 21-23, promises to be Carlisle Events’ best yet! Joining the
thousands of bikes on the show field will be a HUGE swap meet area,
special displays of unique motorcycles and noted industry celebrities
and guests from the world of motorcycles. This summer’s Bike Fest
delivers such events as a Sport Bike Tuner Competition, the
Mid-Atlantic Custom Builders

Merchandise Mall. Custom builders, stunt riders, motorcycle giveaways,
dyno testing, informative custom builders roundtables and seminars, a

At the Aug. 4-6 Carlisle All-Truck Nationals, the
truck enthusiast will find everything he or she needs from a huge
manufacturers’ midway and swap meet to almost 2000 trucks, covering
lowered Mini’s to lifted 4 x 4’s to working Big
Rigs. Stacey David, host of Trucks! TV, will be on-site with
Copperhead, one of the great trucks he built on the show. Stacey will
be signing autographs, answering your questions and giving you a piece
of his truck-building wisdom. Other exciting featured shows include the
Monster Truck Shows & Rides, the Rock Crawl and new in 2006, is a
Freestyle Motocross show! Burnout, Bikini, Hydro, and High/Low contests
will take place throughout the weekend.
On Aug. 25-27,
Corvettes at Carlisle will feature a ’96 Grand Sport reunion, we’ll
have a “Z06’s Unite” area, and a 1956 Corvette Reunion. The finished
Carlisle Callaway Corvette project car undertaken by Lance Miller will
be on display as well. The 2006 Chip’s Choice will be dedicated to the
balance of the Chip Miller Collection. The early years of his
collection were shown in 2004, and the later-year cars will be
displayed this year.
The 33rd annual Fall Carlisle Collector

Events, host of 11 collector car, truck and motorcycle events each
